Infused water is all the rage with people who love water and people who want to love water. It's just mixing fruit and herbs with water, chilling for a few hours, then, voila, you have naturally sugared drink yumminess. Plus, it's great timing to start replacing your diet with some healthy foods (this has nothing to do with spring being less than a month away and I want to fit into my shorts from last year).
Of course to capitalize on the very simple idea of adding flavor to water there's a whole line of elaborate products to make it easier for you (it's adding stuff to water... is it really necessary to make it easier?), but I prefer a frugal approach -- throwing stuff in a mason jar. I know; I'm so Pinterest.
Here are two recipes I tried this weekend. Note, make sure you slice the fruit thinly so more of the flavor gets from the surface areas of the fruit into your H2O.
