Paris, je t'aime! La nourriture, le café, les personnes... Ils sont merveilleux! Let's never forget about French coffee and pastries. As a foodie, I highly recommend stuffing your face with as much food as humanly possible while you are there. Escargot was probably my favorite food on the whole trip.
Then of course, there was the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, The Louvre, Notre Dame, the love lock bridge, Musee D'Orsay, and fantastic river cruise down the Seine. It was a packed itinerary for 3.5 days in Paris!
I was taking the metro for a lot of it, but there was a fair amount of hoofing it through the busy streets of grand Paris. I carried everything I needed for the day -- DSLR,Instax camera, itinerary, tickets (pre-purchase to jump the line), wallet, and metro passes. I bought this marvelous backpack which is light, comfortable on my shoulders, and is neutral enough that it goes with everything.
See some of the pics I took in Paris with my Canon 70D and Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM lens below.
